Righteous and just
Is our God
Wherever the wind blows
He remains
True
Faithful
Trustworthy
Committed to His word
He is
The same
Unshakable
Righteous
Holy
When we go stray
As sheep sometimes do
He remains
Faithful
When rules are bend to suit the times
He remains
Righteous and true
When the poor are oppressed and
labor is declared cheap
The key word being profit…
Ecclesiastes 5:8-9
If you see the poor oppressed in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and over them both are others higher still. The increase from the land is taken by all; the king himself profits from the fields.
He remains
Just
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne
When we call on Him
We are filled with hope
Hope in knowing
That He brings justice in a world so broken
Hope in knowing that our land will be healed as if we pursue righteousness
Isaiah 51:5
My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm.
He is the righteous judge
Come if you are oppressed
Call upon Him
If your pursue righteousness and healing for our land
Call on Him
He is on the throne
He is righteous and just
