A kiss on my forehead

A kiss on my forehead

My soul, weary

I feel the rain drops on my face

I am thirsty, drained

The sun is setting

A new day is beginning

I need the strength

I close my eyes

My heart begins to search

For the One I love

I draw near

His sweet embrace

A kiss on my forehead

Love

Now it is not just rain drops

It is pouring rain

Washing away all my worries

“I am so glad I came.”

Is all I can say

“I am so glad that You are here.”

Times of refreshing

Psalm 42:1-2 (NASB)

As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So my soul pants for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;
When shall I come and appear before God?
