Peace be still
Demands made
Expectations to meet
Goals to achieve
Mountains to climb
Children to rise
Parents to forgive and honor
A family to belong to
Friends to make and keep
An image to display
A reputation to maintain
An identity to know
Clients to win
A boss to convince
Colleagues to work with
Ends to meet
Suddenly
At my wits ends I cry, “Master my boat is sinking, help!”
Then you come and say these amazing words, “peace be still.”
You make me lie down
You restore my soul
You are my Peace.
