A King that hang on a cross

Bleeding to death for the cause of love

Gasping for breath

All while forgiving

Forgiving those who had tortured Him

Forgiving friends who had deserted Him

Forgiving a best friend who had denied knowing Him

Forgiving the thief they hang next to Him

Forgiving me

Now clothed in splendor
