The children imitate the Father

Subtle resemblances

As a small boy would watch his father shave his beard

Then tries to do the same

Act like his father

Our Father who art in heaven

As it is in heaven

We see  

Forgiveness
Kindness
Humility
Faithfulness
Consistency
Sometimes going against the grain

It is rubbing off on us

Doing it the family way
Family
To belong
To love those who don’t love us
To pray for our enemies
Family
As the Father would

 “If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them!  And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return.
