I am among the people

I am among the people
Instead of judging them
Hating them and wishing that they would…disappear
Talking behind their backs
Will you join me?
As I do this divine work
Will you counsel them?
Wise counsel
Tell them what I tell you to say to them?

I am among the people
The sick
The wounded
The ones that seem less than
The perpetrators

I am among the people
To save
To restore
What has been stolen
A new dawn
A fresh start
A clean slot

I am among the people
I will find them
I found you
Sacred work
Souls are coming home
