Your ways
Are perfect
Are full of light
Rest for my soul
Your ways bring life
You are perfect
I followed my ways
Full of dangerous traps
I fell
Exhausted
Beaten down
Despised
Then Your hand lifted me
Lead me to a path
Full of light
“Take my yoke upon you
for it is light.”
I thought my way was better
Faster
But
Your ways have saved my life
A still small voice
” Go this way.”
Repent
Trust
Forgive
Love
Believe
Praise
Give thanks
Pray
Study the word
Your ways not my ways
Now safe in Your arms
Adopted
Cherished
Reconciled
A price paid for my freedom
So incredibly high
