It was dark

I stumbled

I strayed

Mistakes

Wrong decisions

Broken relationships

Discouraged

Hopeless

Going through the motions

In the dark

Then

Light

You heard my cry

Jesus the light men

Light flooded my path

The Word gave life to everything that was created,
  and his life brought light to everyone. John 1:4 (NLT)

Now I see

I see love

I am loved

I am accepted

I have been adopted

Everything has changed

Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning. Ecclesiastes 11:7 (NTL)

Jesus came into my heart

What was hidden now exposed

What was decaying now in the open

Healing is beginning

I am not where I used to be

I am a work in progress

The light has come

Arise my soul and shine! for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you

Blessed be Him name

No need to walk in the darkness any longer

Receive Jesus

Come to the light

The light of men
