Fame vs. Obedience

What if I was famous

So much so that people walking on the street recognised me

Waved at me, smilled at me, wanted to take pictures with me?

What if my name became  a house hold name overnight?

What if I was interviewed by famous TV hosts

And people wanted to hear my opinions and views on various subjects?

vs.

What if I obeyed God?

What if I sought to please Him and follow His ways?

To do what is right before God

What if my relationship with God was so intimate

Such that  I could hear His voice clearly?

And enjoy a close fellowship with Him

Choice…

One achievement would lead to my being love by men

The other would lead to a very close and special relationship with God

God, the maker of heaven and earth

Knowing what I know now

Seeing what I have seen

Which of these two achievements

Would I consider more valuable and significant?

Which one of these two achievements would you consider more significant, brothers and sisters?
