Remember the tent and the manger

God most high, most powerful

Dwelling among men

In a tent

The tent of meeting  in the desert

His glory shining on men

A cloud of protection over His own

Fire to light their way at night and to keep their enemies at bay

God most high

Dwelling with men

Behold what manner of love

Accessible to the lowest, poorest, the forgotten weakest

Remember the manger

Does anyone among you feel lowly? unworthy?  too insignificant?

God is here

Come child

He is here to save souls

From eternal destruction

God in a tent

God in a manger

Among sheep, hey and manure

Accessible to the shephard

Accessible to kings

Accesible to you

But only through His son Jesus Christ

The way, the truth and the life

God most high

Emmanuel

God with us

Remember the tent and the manger
