Yours they were

John 17:6

 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

You found me

Lost

Alone

Depressed

Rejected

Dejected

Yet

You took me in as Yours

“She is my child.”

No body wanted anything to do with me

No one cared

Still

You gave me a home

You gave me a name – an identity

Your child

Then you gave me the prince of peace

Your Son

Our redeemer

Our Lord paid the price for our failings

You draw me to Yourself

Through your son

I did not find You

You found me

I am Yours

With all I have and all that I do not have

All I am and all that I am not

My weaknesses

My strengths

I am Yours

Thank you, dear Father

Preserved by God

Protected by God
