The shepherd’s heart for His sheep
His flock
Amid the hustle and bustle
One sheep strays
Wanders off
The shepherd notices
He rounds up the sheep immediately
The search begins
The wolves at large
Ready to devour the lost sheep
It is raining
No is it pouring
As if this does not make the search difficult enough
It is also getting dark
But the shepherd is determined to find the lost sheep
He brings the other sheep to safety and continues the search
After what seems like hours
He is seen carrying a small lamb
Over His shoulders
He found it!
He brings it home
Our good shepherd
He gave his life for the sheep
Our Lord Jesus the good shepherd
Faithful
Faithful through generations
