Oh, little baby
Do not cry
I am so sorry
That you must fight to live
That those who should protect you
Have turned their back on you

Unwanted
Unplanned
A burden
A mass of tissue
But you are more than that

Like the rest of us
With a purpose, a God-given purpose
Before your birth
God already knows you
He has good plans for you
Plans to give you hope and a future
Yet those who you have been entrusted to
Have turned their backs on you
I am so sorry
I pray for you
I pray for your mom too
I pray for a change of heart
A touch from God
A miracle
I pray that she will give you the chance to live
So that you may be a blessing
That you may display your gifts and talents
That you may bless and amaze us
With your true you
A gift from God
I am so sorry honey
I hope and pray that
Your story will not end
Before it even begins
We are fighting for you
