Humble yourself before the Lord

For the Lord resists the proud and gives grace to the humble

Remembering makes us humble

Remember when you had no one to help you

Remember when you were lost

Remember when you lost everything

Remember when you were sick

Remember when you were poor and miserable

Remember when your friends deserted you

Remember when your heart was broken

Who found you?

Who healed you?

Who never left you?

Who rescued you?

Who defended you and paid your debts?

Who adopted you and took you home?

Remember your God

Remember Jesus saying, “Father forgive them for they know what they do.”

Remember and humble yourself before the Lord

For He resist the proud and gives grace to the humble
