A dear friend

He is gone

They killed Him

We are devastated and heartbroken

Yes, I remember that He told us about His death

But it all sounded so far-fetched

We loved Him

We miss Him

He spoke of great things

He spoke of a kingdom

He gave us hope

We are simple men, yet He made us believe in someone greater than ourselves

He talked about love, hope and service

He told us that in order to be great, we must first serve others

Indeed, His teachings were marvelous

Everyone wanted to be around Him

He was so brave

He spoke the truth without fear

Now He is gone

We are paralyzed with fear

Will they come after us now?

People know us and they saw us with Him

We are terrified

“What’s that?”

risen? He is risen from the dead?

I must come and see for myself

He is risen! He is risen!

Everything He told us was true!

He is the Messiah

He is our Messiah

He is my Messiah

He is risen.”

Selah

In honor of the risen King

A lion, bold

A lamb, gentle

A brother

A friend

A King

His garments, soaked in blood

His face, cover with blood

He gave up everything to redeem His people

“Let my people go.” He said

Now I am free

He is risen, He is risen

Every knee shall bow before Him and every tongue will confess Him as Lord

The Lamb of God is risen

He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” And they remembered his words, and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.

  1. Thank you so much friend 🙂
    Hebrews 13:20-21 (ESV)

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us[a] that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
