Faith as a shield.

To put out all burning arrows shot by the evil one.

The burning darts of the enemy

Really? You really believe that?

Will this be enough to last you through this entire period?

Will God really  provide for you?

Haven’t you been praying and believing for  healing the whole time?

Haven’t you been reading and declaring His word?

Where are the results?

What, you believe that? Science proves otherwise. A true intellectual would never believe that!

Look at all the smart people, the beautiful people, the rich people. They don’t believe in God, don’t you see? you don’t need to either

What preaching about Christ? Are you even qualified for that?

Don’t the people in that congregation prefer to listen to someone with clout,  you need a college degree at least. Are you a good public speaker?  better not to put yourself on the spot

Don’t they despise you? Why would they want anything to do with you?

What can you possibly have to offer? Don’t you constantly make mistakes?

Don’t you just want to crawl under a rock? I would, if I had made such a stupid mistake

The shield of faith

Faith says

I believe in Jesus

I am God’s child

I have received and accepted Him in my life

Jesus fulfilled the law

He will carry me through this life and the next

I am joined with Him, He is mine and I am His

He loves me; I don’t need to be perfect or qualified

It is by faith that I have been saved and not by works

Romans 3:22 (NIV)

The righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:

God is good, God is really good

Because I have accepted His son, He will walk with me and show me how to live right

He is on my side, I don’t need to be perfect

He knows that I am not perfect and still loves me

I don’t have to prove anything to Him

He my weakness He steps in with His strength and does what only He can do

He is my Father

I don’t demand perfection from my children, I only want them to be honest and do their best

I just want a relationship with them. In the same way, my perfect Father in heaven will take me in and teach me what I need to know, I don’t have to be qualified to tell people about Him and how He has rescued me by sending His Son to take my punishment

Matthew 7:11(NIV)

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

God will see me through He is faithful and therefore cannot deny Himself

2 Timothy 2:13 (NIV)

If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot disown himself.

Father, thank you that for loving me, and adopting me into Your family. Thank you and I love you.

Thank you Lord Jesus for making all this possible, You are the greatest gift to us from the Father, You are amazing.

Thank you Holy Spirit for teaching me over and over again and not giving up on me when I make mistakes, thank you for leading me in paths of righteousness.
