A child of grace
How often have I been taught?
How often have I been shown?
How often have I forgotten?
How often have I done it wrong?
How often have I fallen?
How often have I been forgiven?
How often have I been favored?
How often have I been fed and clothed?
How often have my wounds been bandaged?
How often have I been healed?
How often have I been embraced?
How often have I been comforted?
Yet I am taught daily again and again
By a loving and patient Father
I am nothing but a child of grace
Thank you God for Your grace!
Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)
For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of calamity.
