Praise Him

2 Samuel 6:21-23

ESV

And David said to Michal, “It was before the LORD, who chose me above your father and above all his house, to appoint me as prince  over Israel, the people of the LORD—and I will celebrate before the LORD. I will make myself yet more contemptible than this, and I will be abased in your  eyes. But by the female servants of whom you have spoken, by them I shall be held in honor.”

Because
He was there when no one else was
He stayed when others left
He listened as I cried myself to sleep
He stood by me as my world crumbled around me
He was at my bedside when I was sick
He shone rays of light on my path when all was gloomy and sad
He was there
He never left
I praise Him
With all that is within me
Fire by night
A cloud by day
A friend
A Saviour
My God
