Let the light in
A knock
A friend at the door
Is that soup in His hands?
I let Him in
Soup . . .
“ Hi friend.”
I am unwell?
I don’t know
One look in His eyes
Tears run down my face
Hurt
Pain
He knows
The bruises and bumps of life
We all have them
He knows
Let the light in
He cares for you
Let Jesus in
He is here to heal
Those bruises
Those bumps
At some point we all get them
Life . . .
Let Him heal you
Touch you
The journey is not over yet
So let the light in
A friend is at your door
You are not alone
He sees
He know
About the bruises
He cares
Let the king of glory in
Selah

Your work is wonderful to read 🙂 I am enjoying reading it. There is some sadness there too though… Love your work! I pray that bright rays shine on your path. God bless you
