Walking
One step at a time
My hand in His
Still thoughts creep my mind
Where am I going?
What am I doing?
Am I on the right path?
Then I hear His voice and I look up
“I AM here, I AM not letting you go. Trust Me”
Words of comfort in an unfamiliar place
I trust You, You will not let me go
Through the good times
My hand in Yours
Through the bad times
My hand in His
I trust You
You will not let me go
I am clinging on to You
You are holding me
I will not slip
While walking
One step at a time.
