Behold these are but the outskirts of his ways
and how small a whisper do we hear of him
but the thunder of his power who can understand

Whispers
and how small a whisper
we hear from him
was his voice in the wind
in the storm?
in the large crowds?
on the large stages?
on the world stages?
in huge arenas?
was his voice heard in public?
it is but a small still voice
to a heart turned to him
that whisper
from eternal places
ancient places
Ancient of Days
how small is that whisper we hear from him yet
the thunder of his power who can stand
