Trust

1 Chronicles 5:20
“And when they prevailed over them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried out to God in the battle, and He granted their urgent plea because they trusted in Him.”

Not because they were holy.
Not because of their faithfulness—or lack thereof.
Their prayers were answered because they trusted in God.

Dear Lord,
In my darkest nights, I trust You to help me,
that I may know You and love You more deeply.
In loss and pain, You are here with me,
a very present source of help.
I lean on You.
I trust You.
Intervene in my life so that I may live fully for You
and come home to You rejoicing.
Amen and amen.
