Peace

What is this peace

What is this assurance

That everything will be okay

That my heart will mend

That God is with me

That He sees and hears

That my case will be heard

That He never left

Even when things got so bad

When the enemy attacked

In my weakest state

When he pounced

Really to attack and kill

God was with me

A strong tower

Dependable

My assurance

My peace
