God knows

If only I knew . . .
I would have . . .
I could have . . .
I should have . . .
But I didn’t know so
I stepped out
Or I didn’t step out
It was in good faith that I did or didn’t

I didn’t see this coming
Otherwise
I could have . . . Yet
God knows
I take comfort in knowing
That God knows
I am reaching out for His hand
In a world so dark
He knows and He is good

Not knowing isn’t the worst thing
Having someone guide me through the dark is a beautiful thing
Having a good and faithful person guide me through this life is magnificent thing
God is with me
He knows
