I wish vs Thank you.

I wish I had this or that

Thank you God that I have this and that

I wish I had a better job

Thank God for my job

I wish I had a bigger flat or a house with a garden

Lord Jesus thank you that I have a place to live, a roof over my head!

I wish I had this gift or that talent; just think of how I could change the world!

Dear Holy Spirit thank you for Your gifts, You have given me all I require for life and godliness in Christ!

I wish I could travel, I wish I had more money!

I am so grateful because life with You Lord is a journey. Every day I learn something new. For it is the glory of kings to search out a matter, what an adventure it is to walk with You Lord Jesus.

I wish I was smarter

Holy Spirit thank you that You have chosen to reside in me. You lead me and I do not rely on my own understanding. You whisper and reveal deep things to me, therefore I am wise and I never have to face life a lone again!

I wish I was richer, prettier, famous, powerful…

I wish I wish I wish

No!

I am so thankful to You Lord Jesus, You have given me all I need.

  2. When thoughts of discontent enter our minds, it is wise to take a step back, pause, and remember all the reasons we already have for contentment. Thank you for this reminder. 🙂

  3. I agree! I have to remind myself to be grateful as well. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” Psalms 103. or as someone once said, “Someone somewhere wishes they had your bad days…” Have a lovely day 🙂
